Has putting from the rough ever been this good?
Brand new putting system, new set of online options, still as thoroughly addictive as ever
The best available, but there had better be some major new features included next year to stop us feeling short changed

If you played golf on Mars, it would be a strange game with some monster huge drives possible. There'd be no grass, so you'd aim to get the ball not on the green but on the ...
PGA 10 is an excellent golf game with a deep campaign mode, and this year brings some impressive innovations such as tournament challenges, not to mention being able to go online to take on Tiger and other golfing professionals when they play real...

Golf is a dull sport. Sorry if you're a golf fan, but it just is. Break it down - guy with metal stick hits ball into a hole at the most leisurely pace imaginable (you could break down any sport like this and it would sound rubbish! - Ed). We agree...
The graphics just keep getting better and better. I hope they add some more courses this year. Looking forward to it

Oh god, its anecdote time. My dad, upon discovering my purchase of a Wii, decided to inform me about a news piece he had just seen about the dangers of a dodgy wrist strap. I was playing Wii Sports at the time, specifically golf, and as a keen golfer...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters remains the top golf sim for virtual swingers. Even though the series embraces the Move motion controller in its PlayStation 3 edition this year, superior controls in the Wii version of the game still make it the...

Tiger Woods is now on the green. Where last year's Nintendo Wii edition of EA Sports' golf franchise was comparable to one of the golf legend's majestic drives that used to inspire awe in galleries across the globe, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 is more of a...

Last year, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 All-Play for the Nintendo Wii just missed the green. Despite its mostly stellar re-creation of a real golf swing with the Wii Remote, annoying issues with putting sensitivity cost it a couple of strokes. That isn't a...

This latest Tiger Woods installment is a study of rage-inducing realism.
Like the island of Cyprus, the game of golf and I have a complicated history. I remember the pain of being dragged away from the The Tick on Saturday mornings for lessons, the tedium of driving practice, and the slow, meandering grind of 18 holes. It's...

You won't find Tiger's face on the cover or title screen for this year's PGA Tour game, but his presence is still all up in this thing.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 doesn't play much different than last year's game, but the additions of a more fleshed out career mode focused around the long-awaited Masters Tournament and a caddie system that welcomes new players round out the game more. All...

New online game modes available. EA has finally allowed for some more game modes. In stroke play, for example, players aren't playing for the lowest score in the round. Players are trying to "win" the most holes by scoring the lowest on individual...
1. New online game modes available ; 2. New swing mechanic makes the game more like the real thing ; 3. Several new courses ; 4. Ryder Cup is amazing
1. All game modes are not available online ; 2. Wii balance board is not used to further increase realism

All play is too easy, Standard play is at times unrealistic and makes no sense. You shouldn't have to devote your life to a game to enjoy it. An example: 10 ft off the green on a flat lie and a 100% chip goes 3 ft. Huh??? Sometimes even ... Expand full...
Good graphics and realistic maps of the golf courses and players
The announcers are wrong too often. The announcers don't know a birdie from an eagle, I've been told I'm 150 yds out when I'm on the green. I'm told I'm tied, when I've won the tournament. Sponsors paying you to promote items is cheap advertising

We love this game as well as 2008 (hated 2009) but we cannot get tap ins to work - we have tried to discuss this with their "support technicians" but they told us it was a "user issue" - they were very rude. Any suggestions?
Love the new courses
The tap ins do not seem to work with our game and putting a less than 1 foot put is really time consuming and irritating

They should be embarrassed to put out a product with these deficiencies.
Good courses, lots of player creation stuff
The downfall with older versions was the over sensitivity of your swing. So I got the Wii motion plus thinking that the over sensitivity issues were fixed.WRONG! You swing the same exact swing & get different results.Especially on & around the gree

TW PGA Tour 10
Overall this is a fun game. My only issue is the putting green. It is difficult to read the greens as it is not easy to remember which color denotes what slope!! Other than that this is a great game to have fun. I love the St. Andrews course of all the...

My hubby likes it!
From my husband: "It's challenging, but I like that about the game." I'm happy that I bought it!

Frisbee Golf vs Disc Golf -- Wii Sports Resort vs Tiger Woods PGA Tour
Let's cut to brass tacks -- Frisbees glide, Discs drop with a thud. Frisbees are light and can fly long distances with a flick of the wrist, discs are heavy and have to be hurled with force to get a decent flight. Sure, we're talking about a video...

The game is fun and entertaining for players of all levels. Personally, I think golf games should only be played on the wii to be enjoyable.

Great Game!
Bought this game so I could play my dad online every Sunday since we cannot play real golf due to where we both live. This game is very fun and well worth the money for all the various game play modes. A must have!

Great game for a non-Golfer
This awsome game makes me want to play golf for real. I feel I'm so good at it already because I get to beat Tiger and other experts in the tournaments. My name is always at the top of the leaderboard and I have more than $3,000,000 in my purse. Move...
