Saitek P880 Dual Analog Pad

  by Adam Oxford (maxpc.co.uk) - Feb, 2004

A way to play Deus Ex 2 without tweaking your .ini file…

Eight buttons, two joysticks, shift key for extra functions, sturdy joysticks

Thin and crispy-feeling shell, no rumble

Not a bad joypad, and worth the money if you don't want feedback, but not destined to become a classic.

Saitek P990

  by (pcmweb.nl) - Apr, 2006

My first pad, not quite right for me but not bad at all

My first pad, not quite right for me but not bad at all

I'm primarily a point-and-click gamer, I'm a woman so FPS and football games are not my cup of tea, but I've recently purchased a few more action based and platform games and decided to get a gamepad, I will admit I just bought the first decent looking...

not quite right for pro evo 4

not quite right for pro evo 4

I bought this to play pro evo 4, and it works OK, the analogue controllers are fine for directing the players movement and passing, but I haven't found a way of setting it up for the more advanced functions like manual pass. If you want a controller...

None better at reasonable prices

None better at reasonable prices

This is an extremely good controller. I've used better, but they cost closer to £50 at most places, and this is very reasonably priced for what you get. If you're used to a PS2 then get a controller with L2 and R2 buttons instead. This is virtually...

Best PC game-pad you will EVER purchase.

Best PC game-pad you will EVER purchase.

I had been without a good PC game controller for quite a while. I have my Sidewinder Dual Strike laying around and I still use it to play car games like Knight Rider and Need For Speed, but since the hat switch (which I had set up as a D-pad) broke...

Great, but not perfect

  by (amazon.co.uk) - Jun, 2004

Great, but not perfect

At first sight, I must say, this controller is a PC gamers dream. And, i must add, it lives up, mostly, to the gigantic expectations. Easy on the eye, the controller offers suttle padding for youre hand, and is much more comfortable than a PS2...

worthwhile

worthwhile

I solid pad but not without its setbacks. I'd recommend it for sports games only (definately not FPS's) as the analoque is nothing compared to a PS2 controller, and the six buttons next to each other can be awkward, but for games like PES3 or THPS it's...

Excellent

This is the first joypad for a PC that I've bought and I needed it to improve my enjoyment of TOCA race driver 2.All I can say is "Excellent". Well worth the money. I am used to the playstation joypad and this was the closest thing on the market
