Great Pad, Shoddy Construction

  by (cnet.com) - Nov, 2003

cnet.com

9 buttons, Mode Switching (D-pad can double as hat switch), easily accessible throttle slider, dual thumbsticks, good rumble feedback

Poor construction. My experience: first two buttons make annoying clicking noise (they didn't at first); both thumbsticks have come off, and do so very easily; the throttle slider comes off regularly, continuation of this will cause it to break

Great Controller

  by BigChiefJ (newegg.com) - Nov, 2011

newegg.com

I wish more PC games were designed to support this type of controller rather than XBOX controllers, so I wouldn't have to set it up to emulate one.

Reliable, quality controller, easy on batteries

Awesome Gamepad

  by Remix5x (newegg.com) - Jan, 2011

newegg.com

Works well with NBA 2k11 on my PC. Wifi, been using it constantly for a couple months and have still not had the need to change the battery

I hate that games on the PC are setup so they configure with an XBOX controller, being used to a PS3 I decided to go with this. Not really a controller con, but people should know that it will take a little extra time to setup the controller so it...

I have used several other game pads over the years and always had issues with them but this one just works and it's wireless.

Finally a game pad that works like it's suppose to. Worked out of the box, good vibration, very happy with this model

Good pad, but dead

  by Gene (newegg.com) - Dec, 2010

newegg.com

Cordless, easy setting, confortable holding ; I got two, and they can work together with offical driver

Big receiver ; One of them did not work after 3 days. The pad could not be found by the receiver any more when I changed the batteries. I followed the offical manual to match them again. But the LED light just keep flashing, however no button pressing...

Nice gamepads

  by MJ (newegg.com) - Dec, 2010

newegg.com

Can't say I have a lot of experience with gamepads, but I really do like these. They went on sale for $19.99 + free shipping so I bought two of them to use for emulators on my HTPC. I have a Logitech Cordless Desktop combo on my HTPC, and for some...

Comfortable, sturdy, responsive, works on Windows 7 x64, and compatible with every emulator I've used so far

They're a little heavy - makes clumsy people like me prone to dropping them

YESsss

  by JABBA (newegg.com) - Dec, 2010

newegg.com

Man , this is a great controller. I thought it might be hard to run/move in a straight line due to the square parts that the sticks sit in , but no way. Everything is great.

I must say...I love it. This thing is comfortable and familiar. Works great in all my games (minus 1st person shooters) A MUST for sports games and/or fighting games. Great for air combat games

The only thing I see as a con is that it is not precise enough for 1st person shooter games. Way too twitchy or too slow. I didn't purchase it for that though

Don't really have anything bad to say for the price of this controller except for it runs on AA's but thats kinda expected
