Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad - PC review - Pocket-lint

  by Stuart Miles (pocket-lint.com) - Jan, 2003

pocket-lint.com

100 hours of battery life, sturdy in design, almost identical to a ps2 controller

his is a sturdy device that will bring a console element to your PC gaming, if you don't mind paying the £30 for the experience.

Moist palms

Decent 10-button analogue joystick. Strong resemblance to 360 controller. Chillstream isn't intrusive

Chillstream function is a novelty at best. Microsoft's Xbox 360/PC controller is better. Chillstream is pretty loud, too

Logitech ChillStream

  by Pierre-Jean Alzieu (digitalversus.com)

digitalversus.com

This gamepad comes equipped with a built-in air-conditioning system. The fan is hidden inside the pad, and blows air out through three vents on each side. Three settings are available, off, low and high, although only the last of these actually...

High quality materials ; Quiet buttons ; Ventilation is pleasant when games are paused

Slippy analog sticks ; Too small, unusual shape ; Gimmicky ventilation ; No vibration ; No customizable profiles

Even though this pad looks a lot like the Xbox 360's, it lacks many of Microsoft's advantages. The sticks are slippy, the handles too small and therefore less comfortable and the vibration has had to make way make for air-con, which isn't really worth...

Take Control?

  by (pcmag.com) - Mar, 2004

Perfect for casual gaming, flight simulations, and even driving games, the Logitech Attack 3 Joystick is far superior to just a mouse and keyboard. The handle fits both right and left hands and the plug-and-play setup is a breeze, with 11 programmable...

Logitech Chillstream

Is it too damning to call the Chillstream an 'ideal gift'? It's actually a pretty decent pad, and the fan function will keep you giggling for ten minutes or so, but after that you'll kind of wish you just had a normal pad instead...

Review: Logitech ChillStream Gamepad

  by Ryan McLaughlin (justechn.com) - Feb, 2007

Gaming on computers is as popular as ever, but if you are coming from a console or you are playing a game that does not work well with a keyboard and mouse, you may find it difficult to get used to the new controls. Fortunately there are a plethora of...

Wireless interference

Wireless interference

The controller in itself is fine. It's well built and comfortable although a little heavy. However, it generates a LOT of wireless interference. If you have an internal wireless TV link the picture will become unwatchable. Other than that I can fully...

Good for playing with friends

They work well but are no subtitute for the real deal, for this price you can't really get any better. No sixaxis so the games that require that wont even recognize them. L2 and R2 are more like on/off buttons, just like L1 and R1. No PS3 button witch...

Brilliant cheap pad

Chillstream Controller for PS3

Chillstream Controller for PS3

It is THE most awesome controller EVER. It's really cheap, fully functional ( except for that stupid sixaxis thing, which is for losers anyway) and it doesn't require charging. Overall, it is BETTER than the orignal PS3 controller. Have at you.
