Little Gem

Bought this to go with my Asus Eee Top and Acer Aspire One. Works perfectly with both (and the case matches). Comes with Nero 7 Essentials which handles DVD creation just fine. Little bit noisy on start up, but okay once it gets going.

Reads PS3 Blu-rays so I can backup my PS3 games.

This model of blu-ray player can dump images of PS3 blu-ray games and read them so you can browse the content, this cannot rite though and is slightly pricey, but if you want to backup PS3 games this is the drive to use.

Easy to install and great value for money, what more can i say! PowerDVD which comes with it is great and easy to use.

Good performance, excellent company, decent price.

Perfect for portable use (notebooks, TVs). Extremely lightweight (you have to hold the unit to insert and remove discs) and very slim. Has secondary USB plug for extra power if needed (wasn't necessary for me, but there if you need it). Fast and quiet

Worked OK at the beginning

Died after 8 months of extermely light use. I flahsed the firmware to see if that would fix a DVD playback issue and the dirve disappeared from Windows 2 days later (never to return). Junk

It really sucks to buy a movie and find out you can't watch it because you have a substandard player. It also sucks to put in a disc, realize Windows isn't detecting the drive, and then have to waste five minutes restarting the computer. I've never had...

Normally works fine, image and audio quality are good

Comes with cruddy and extremely outdated PDVD 8. Doesn't play all Blu-Rays - freezes the computer when I put in Lord of War and doesn't read Children of Men at all. Sometimes the drive stops showing up in Windows and I have to restart the computer

This was one of the scimpier manuals that I have ever seen with a case, but I guess most cases are pretty straight forward. They could improve this. Also the rear GPU mounting brackets were somewhat in my way when mounting 2 GPU's in SLI.

Easy to install, works great. Windows 7 picked it right up. Included PowerDVD software is acceptable
