Award: LES NUMERIQUES!

Avoid like the plague!
Due to the designers 'clever' little built in usb cable / connection that extends, after some use the wiring quickly loosens thus preventing any data transfer and sometimes resulting in a power-surge to your PC's USB connection. I am now unable to...

Hot product
I needed this item primarily for the Firewire capability, so the apparently universal problems with the USB connector did not greatly concern me. The unit is working well at the moment with an old G3 Powerbook. One thing that does concern me, however,...

All style and no substance (or reliability)
I bought the Little Disk 250GB (firewire) about a year ago, and regret not returning it straight away. The sleek, piano-black casing is about the best thing about this device, because it certainly does not impress with its performance. I wanted a...

Do not get this harddrive!
I purchased this harddrive at christamas and I am already on my second one, which I am now needing to send back. Essentially it is a convenient product, small and compact. The first one I owned the usb connection cable which is built into the drive...

magic little beast
I am entirely satisfied with the product. It is light and quick. The usb cable being attached to the drive avoids having to bring (or loose) one. Overall a brillant item. My only reserve is the shiny black cover. It would be nice to have a mat finish.

good but need to reformat
I like this Little Disk as the other LaCie products. The only problem is that it comes formatted with ntfs, so I needed to reformat it in order to use under linux/mac. Previous LaCie products I bought in the past were already proper formatted.

nice buy
Probably the best external hard drive I've seen around. Compact and stylish. the glossy surface needs a bit too much attention if you ask me, but now that finally the prices are dropping, I have to say there's no match around.

usb
Hi. I have this hard disk for about 2 years. No problems to report with my disk, but I think the idea with the usb wire is not as good as it originally sounds. A friend of mine got one the same time I did, but did more heavy use of it than I did. A few...

That's what i call and external disk
Brilliant! I spend a few days looking for prices vs quality for an external disk and i decided for Lacie. I'm delighted with my choice, it's small, light and with loads of memory. Also it has a perfect design. If you need to store loads of information...

Useful little creature
Attractive little disk. Seems to do all I require although information / instructions for the additional software is poor.
