I have owned this switch for about a year now and never had a problem with it. It is a good fast switch that has never had to be rebooted. I run 4pc's at 100mbps and a isdn router at 10mbps. 700MB copies from one pc to another in around 2.5 mins. ...

Got it in this morning- its great- plugged in a laptop, desktop and xbox and it all worked straight off.

Bought one to exend a network and it works perfectly - the unit itself is small and light, and it did indeed auto-select uplink mode where needed. Would buy again quite happily.

Works just as well as my £30 Netgear switch.

this is a really good switch for the money, so much better working with multiple switches on a network vs trying to mess with multiple routers

I've had this unit for 2 years, It worked great during that time... I'd easily transfer files b/w my media server and desktop at 90-100MB/s. No problems while it was working

After 2 years the switch just completely died out. The light remained on, but nothing was going through the ports. Besides that, I can't really complain

Unit died. After TWO MONTHS I am STILL trying to get an RMA from D-Link. If they can't stand behind their products, I'll buy from another company

According to the manual, unit is energy efficient by reducing power without affecting performance on cable runs that is less than 20 meters. Very easy to setup, nothing to configure (unmanaged switch), just plug the ethernet cables and ac adapter.
