  by Charlie Brewer (pocket-lint.com) - Dec, 2004

Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 2 review

  by Stuart Miles (pocket-lint.com) - Nov, 2003

pocket-lint.com

Creative has always been renowned for its soundcards - from when they dominated the PC industry with its 8 and 16-bit ISA Soundblasters all those years ago to its industry standing today. Times and technology have changed a lot since then, we've seen...

The ultimate standard (until the PCI Express version)

Crap Win98 installation

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor

  by Neil Bennett (pcadvisor.co.uk) - Jul, 2005

pcadvisor.co.uk

The ponderously titled Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor is an ingenious combination of 7.1 surround sound and video editing hardware. It's an external box that connects to your PC via USB 2.0, adding almost every variation of video and audio...

The Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor spoils a great idea by handcuffing users to a single set of mediocre applications. Owners of older PCs will benefit most from the hardware-accelerated boost to video capture and encoding, and the price is good.

Anyone interested in playing games or making music on their notebook would do well to take a look at the latest offering from Creative.

This is potentially a killer card for notebook users. The thought of having portable surround sound solution is greatly appealing and the price is affordable too. It also enables laptop owners to enjoy DVD Audio discs. Software bloat and some annoying...

  by Andrew Swinton (zdnet.co.uk) - Nov, 2002

No doubt it's a market dominating product. It's just not worth investing in. Hope other sound card manufacturer can come out with something as good yet cheaper.
